*Museum visit is free for museum employees, conscripts, repressed persons, children’s home children, persons with special needs and employees of the Road Administration system.

VISITOR´S REMINDER

During the museum visit adults or parents are responsible for their children´s health conditions and their actions.
Child under age 9 must be supervised by a parent or other adult at all times.
Estonian Road museum is not responsible for clothes, money and valuable things left in the cloak rooms.
You are not allowed to enter the exposition with food and drinks
Access to the museum for drunk is forbidden.
The territory of the museum is smoke-free.
Making noise and disturbing other visitors is forbidden.
Before using simulators please read the instructions carefully.
Estonian Road museum is not responsible for any damages to the visitor as a result of not adhering to the museum rules and regulations.
Museum does not buy back sold tickets and souvenirs.

Come and discover the wonderful world of the Road Museum:

ACCESSABILITY
The best way to arrive in the Estonian Road museum is by car. We have 2 parking lots: 400 places on Tartu side of the museum and 36 places in the parking lot on Võru side. Distance to the ticket offices is the same from both sites.

CHILDREN IN THE MUSEUM
Estonian Road museum is a family museum. Besides ordinary museum exposition children can visit a children´s museum in the main building and a traffic city. Although museum supervisors (instructors) are available for children, adults should always accompany their children.

On the assumption of peculiarity of our museum, passing some parts of historical road space with pram is rather difficult. If you need help, please let the staff know, they are glad to help you. If you want to visit traffic town with pram the best way to go there via the parking lot on Võru side.

NB! Swaddling tables and toddler toilets are in the toilets of Varbuse Teemaja and Machinery hall.

VISITORS WITH SPECIAL NEEDS
Parking lot in front of the museum has 2 places for disabled people. If you need museum attendant´s help, please call the number you see there. On the assumption of peculiarity of our museum, passing some parts of historical road space and surroundings of an old post station with wheel chair is rather difficult because we display roads of different eras. Access to the permanent exhibition in the main building is possible with temporary ramp. Toilets for disabled people are in cafe Varbuse Teemaja and Machinery hall.

For people with visual impairments we recommend a guided tour.

PETS IN THE MUSEUM
Pets with good behaviour are allowed in the museum if they are in the arms of its owner or on a leash.
