Our aim is to continue the beloved festival and fair tradition of Põlvamaa while connecting it with the activities, themes, and unique atmosphere of the Road Museum. The result is Living Road Fest – a place where local food and small-scale producers, community fair culture, sustainable living, and the museum’s cultural and family-oriented programme come together.
The festival day will feature a high-quality market of local producers, workshops and activities for the whole family, special museum programmes and guided tours, as well as themes related to mobility, road safety, and environmental awareness. All of this will be accompanied by a pleasant end-of-summer festival atmosphere and the anticipation of a new school year.
The event aims to preserve Põlvamaa’s fair tradition and bring together local life, sustainable values, and the museum’s activities in a shared end-of-summer gathering place.
Applications are welcome from local producers and vendors offering their own products, craftspeople, small-scale manufacturers, providers of clean and locally produced food and farm products, as well as quality street food vendors who share the values long associated with the Põlvamaa Eco Festival – authenticity, purity, and sustainability.
The full cultural and activity programme will be announced soon.
