Grandparents Day and celebration of 90th birthday of Jawa motorbike

Grandparents Day starts with a parade of motor bikes and continuous with competitions, performances. It will be full of nostalgy.

Grandparents Day in Estonian Road Museum on 7 September at 13.00

Together with club Unic Moto we celebrate 90th birthday of Jawa motorbike.

  • Great parade of Jawas, race of unic motorbikes, selection of the prettiest Jawa.
  • Pop up Jawa exhibition
  • Sepo Seeman in his performance Man and Motorbike draws a parallel between a man and his friend motorbike.

Come and bring your Jawa to the parade! Free entrance for these who come by unic motorbike!

Entrance fee for ohter visitors– a museum ticket.

In 1929 František Janeček started in  Czechoslovakia  building motor bikes. He had bought the motorcycle division of Wanderer and the name JAWA was established by concatenating the first letters of Janeček and Wanderer.
